Kratom Smoothies For Workouts: A Guide

You may not have heard about the newfound popularity kratom has found with some of America’s buffest folks- bodybuilders! That’s right, the most workout-intense among us are turning more and more frequently to kratom before hitting the gym. But using kratom as a workout aid doesn’t have to be reserved for weightlifters and bodybuilders, you can use kratom to boost any form of exercise! From home workouts, casual trips to the gym, and even walks around the block, including kratom in your pre-workout plan can make a huge difference to your exercise. If you are into high-intensity workouts and haven’t considered adding kratom to your workout routine, now’s the time to try it out- there’s a reason it’s so popular!

One of the easiest and most efficient ways of taking kratom before working out is by making energy-filled kratom smoothies. The combination of energizing ingredients and kratom will leave you ready to slay even the most challenging workouts.

We’ve chosen two of our favorite classic workout-smoothie recipes to share with you, because they stick to ingredients that are cheap and easy to find, while still being delicious and energizing!

 

The Kratom Green Monster

Everything there is to love about the classic Green Monster smoothie, but with the added benefits from kratom!

Makes: 1 smoothie (2 cups) Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Prof. Whyte’s kratom*
  • 1 cup almond milk or other non-dairy milk
  • 1 cup kale leaves or baby spinach (no stems)
  • 1 large ripe frozen banana, chopped into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseed (if available)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 2 to 3 ice cubes
  • *White or Green vein strain of your choice is recommended (i.e. White Sumarta, Green Maeng Da). For frequent kratom users, a higher dose may be required.

Directions:

Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.

This smoothie is known for leaving you feeling great, with long-lasting energy that’s perfect pre-workout, and cleansing properties that can leave skin looking brighter. For high-intensity workouts, we recommend using the White strain of your choice. For low-intensity workouts, we recommend using the Green strain of your choice. The Elvis’ Protein Kratom Smoothie

This tasty smoothie packs the punch of being both protein-rich and full of kratom, perfect before a high-intensity workout!

Makes: 1 smoothie Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Prof. Whyte’s kratom*
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¾ cups oats 1 banana (chopped)
  • 1 scoop (1–2 tbsp) chocolate protein powder’
  • *White or Green vein strain of your choice is recommended (i.e. White Sumatra, Green Maeng Da). For frequent kratom users, a higher dose may be required.

Directions

Pour the milk into the blender, then, on a very low setting, add the protein powder and the kratom, followed by the oats and the banana. Blend until smooth.

This smoothie provides so much energy! There’s the quick-release energy of the banana, the slower-release energy from the oats, plus the consistent energy from kratom. For high-intensity workouts, we recommend using the White strain of your choice. For low-intensity workouts, we recommend using the Green strain of your choice.
