Kratom dosing can be tricky, but Prof. Whyte’s kratom is available as powder or in capsules to make it easier! Here’s how much to take in order to achieve a mild, moderate, or high dose of kratom. Keep in mind high doses tend to produce mildly sedating effects, regardless of the blend.

Average Doses-

Capsule Dosing:
  • Mild- 1 to 2 g (2-4 capsules)
  • Moderate- 2 to 4.5 g (4-9 capsules)
  • High- 4.5 to 8 g (9-16 capsules)
(our capsules are .5 g each)

Powder dosing:
  • Mild- Up to .5 tsp.
  • Moderate- 1 to 1.5 tsp.
  • High- 2 to 2.5 tsp.

Remember, these are average doses and should be adjusted according to body weight.

Here’s two expert tips to get the best use out of your kratom:

  1. The less is more theory: The optimal kratom dose is in the mild to moderate range, and high doses can reverse the medicinal and euphoric effects. On top of this, taking lower doses should slow the rate at which a kratom tolerance builds!
  2. For the fastest acting kratom possible, take powder on an empty stomach or make tea. To learn about making kratom tea and other ways of taking kratom, click here.

Having trouble deciding between capsules or powder?

  • -Powder kicks in more quickly, but is harder to take because of its strong taste and less accurate dosing.
  • -Capsules are easier to take because they remove most of the flavor and make dosing easy, but effects take longer to set in.
